How much does a Quonset building cost?
Depends on size, options, and whether you want a kit or a full build. Our online builder gives you an estimated range in seconds, and we confirm the exact price in writing before you pay anything.
How long does installation take?
Most buildings go up in 2 to 5 days with our crew. DIY kits ship with instructions and go at your pace.
Do you deliver outside Manitoba?
Yes. We deliver anywhere in Canada from our Winnipeg base. The builder on the shop page shows the delivery estimate for your province.
Are Quonsets warm enough for a Manitoba winter?
The steel shell is rated for minus forty and the curved roof sheds snow on its own. Insulation options are available, ask and we will spec them for your size.
Do I need a concrete foundation?
A level gravel pad works for most builds. Some customers pour a slab. We will advise based on your size and site.
Do I need a permit?
Most municipalities require a building permit for a structure this size. We will point you to the right office for your area.
Can I insulate the building?
Yes. Spray foam and blanket insulation are common options. Ask when you request your quote and we will include it.
How hard is a DIY kit really?
The panels bolt together with basic hand tools, and the instructions walk you through it arch by arch. Most handy owners finish a small building in a few weekends with a couple of helpers. If that sounds like too much, our crew does it in days.
How long until my kit arrives?
Kits are built to order, so lead times move with the season. Ask for the current lead time when you request your quote and we will give you a straight answer.
Can I add windows, a man door, or an overhead door?
Yes. Doors and windows go in the endwalls, and skylight panels can go in the roof. Tell us the sizes at quote time and we will build the walls around them.
What snow load are these rated for?
The arch shape sheds snow instead of collecting it, and we size the steel for Manitoba loads. If your municipality wants stamped drawings for the permit, we can arrange engineered specs.
Do you build for farms and businesses, not just homeowners?
Yes. Barns, machine sheds, workshops, warehouses, commercial storage. If it needs a roof and four walls of steel, we build it.
Can I get a quote without measuring everything myself?
Rough width, length, and what goes inside is enough for a ballpark number. We confirm exact specs with you before anything is ordered or built.
